  1. Ernest Boyer, Jr on Belief...

    Wednesday 21 July 2010

“God is not a belief to which you give your assent. God becomes a reality whom you know intimately, meet everyday, one whose strength becomes your strength, whose love, your love. Live this life of the presence of God long enough and when someone asks you, “Do you believe there is a God?” you may find yourself answering, “No, I do not believe there is a God. I know there is a God.”

In what way does God make Himself known to You?

Usually it's little things. Lately it's just been His provision. My husband's (Shawn) truck needed some repairs that required quite a bit of money. Shawn and been putting money into savings unknowingly that something was going to break that needed an immediate repair. On top of that we had a coupon for $50 off a repair of $100. Yeah $50 isn't a lot of money, but it's still $50.

That's so wonderful! I love how He does that.

I saw a bumpersticker once that said "coincidence is just God choosing to remain anonymous"

      I think that's a pretty neat thought.

    Thanks for chiming in :)

I really promote conversation here, and I only ask that you be considerate of others feelings, and remember that tone doesn't always translate well over type. An emoticon can work wonders! ;)
